My video work KARAKIA - The Resetting Ceremony (2015) and the photography series Agassiz: The Mixed Traces Series. Somatological Triptych of Sasha Huber (2010-2017) were under the 20 nominated artists to receive the Biennale's best artist award.

Videograph and La Maison D'Haiti Montreal invited us to screen our films related to Haïti during our artist residency at Axenèo7 in Gatineau, QC. Selected films are HaÏti Chérie (2010), I Love JaNY (2010), Remède Remeides (2016) and Perejil (2017) followed by a Q&A. The program is moderated by curator Dominique Fontaine.

Karakia - The Resetting Ceremony (2015) screens on 27.1. at 20.30h at the Revontuliteatteri as part of the Indigenous Peoples In The Night film program during the Skábmagovat Film Festival! This year the festival will spotlight Maori films from Aotearoa (New Zealand), with the Maori singer and filmmaker Moana Maniapoto attending.

The Nordic Delights group exhibition tour continues to it's third destination in Copenhagen at the Fotografisk Center.
With Petri Saarikko I will be attending the artist residency AXENÉO7 in Gatineau, Quebec, CA. It was made possible by the Artists Association of Finland (AAF) who starts the collaboration with AXENÉO7 with us.
